Blue Castle Waste Solutions, LLC (“Blue Castle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit bluecastlewaste.com (the “Website”), sign up for or receive our waste collection, recycling, and roll-off services (the “Services”), or otherwise contact us; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions of Service.
By using the Website or the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1.1 Information You Give Us. When you request a quote, sign up for service, contact us, or manage your account, we may collect:
1.2 Partially Completed Sign-Ups. If you begin our online sign-up form but do not finish it, we may keep the information you entered (such as your name, contact information, ZIP code, and Service Address) so that a member of our team can follow up with you about service and so we can send you information about our Services. You may ask us to delete this information at any time (see Section 7).
1.3 Information Collected Automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information about your device and visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
1.4 Information Collected During Service. To provide and document the Services, we may collect information about service at your Service Address, such as collection dates and times, vehicle location and route data, container weights, and photos taken by our drivers or vehicle cameras showing containers and their surroundings. We use these records to confirm service, resolve billing questions, and document issues such as overflowing or blocked containers, contamination, or damage.
1.5 Information From Others. We may receive information about you from third parties, such as a previous waste hauler whose accounts we acquire, a property manager or landlord, a real estate buyer or seller in connection with a transfer of service, municipalities, or publicly available sources.

Blue Castle does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share personal information only as follows:
3.1 Service Providers. We share information with companies that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, website hosting, route management and customer billing software, email and text message delivery, customer relationship management, and analytics. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
3.2 Disposal and Recycling Partners. We may share Service Address and service information with landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities when needed to provide the Services or meet reporting requirements.
3.3 Municipalities and Government Authorities. We may share information with cities, counties, and other government authorities where required by a franchise agreement, permit, or law, or to respond to a citation or complaint involving a container.
3.4 Collection Agencies. If your account is past due, we may share your account and contact information with a collection agency, as described in our Terms and Conditions of Service.
3.5 Business Transfers. If Blue Castle is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other change of control, or if we transfer customer accounts to another solid waste collection provider because we no longer serve your area, your information will be transferred as part of that transaction. The new owner or provider will be bound by this Privacy Policy with respect to the information transferred.
3.6 Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law or legal process, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Blue Castle, our customers, employees, or others.
3.7 With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
If you provide a mobile phone number, we may send you text messages about your account, service schedule, delays, and billing. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share mobile information only with service providers that help us deliver text messages.
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Website working, remember your progress in the sign-up form, understand how visitors use the Website, and improve it. We may use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, which collect information about your use of the Website. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though some parts of the Website, such as the sign-up form, may not work properly without them. The Website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
6.1 Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor using encrypted connections. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.2 Retention. We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, collect amounts owed, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Information from incomplete sign-ups is kept for up to 84 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
7.1 Account Information. You can review and update your contact, service, and billing information at any time by emailing info@BlueCastleWaste.com or calling (844) 929-2783.
7.2 Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, and out of text messages by replying STOP. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send messages about your account and service.
7.3 Access, Correction, and Deletion. You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within forty-five (45) days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we are required to retain by law or need for an active account, an unpaid balance, or a dispute. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. Residents of Iowa, Minnesota, and other states may have additional rights under their state’s privacy laws, and we will honor those rights as required by law.
7.4 How to Make a Request. To make any of these requests, email info@BlueCastleWaste.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” call (844) 929-2783, or write to us at the address in Section 11. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal within the time required by law.
The Website and the Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
The Website may contain links to other websites, such as our payment processor or local government sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, will always be posted on the Website. If we make a material change to how we use or share your personal information, we will notify you by email or on your bill before the change takes effect.
